Important urban locality evidence: the same pinned OSM extract plus operational passenger transit corroboration from official operator station lists or the Indian Railways Passenger Amenities station list dated 2022-12-01.
Rail entries require a current active OSM passenger station with an exact station code and matching state; the historical passenger list alone is never accepted as current-service evidence.

Product-approved Greater Chennai customer localities and Mahindra World City meeting points are maintained in location-data/chennai-transit-overlay.cjs. These UX additions do not change route or matching semantics.
Each accepted locality and hub has exact name/alias identity and a unique shared district/state. Transit-gap additions without a mapped municipal polygon require the exact named operational station within 5 km. No fuzzy, nearest-place, parent-city, wildcard, or runtime matching rule is introduced.
